Capacity-building of regional Universities in teaching the practical skills related law course

This Project will advance the practical and research skills-related educational programs at Samtskhe-Javakheti State University and Gori State Teaching University by advancing practical and research skills for law students via clinical legal education, moot court, conference, alternative (“shadow”) reporting and summer school activities.

The Project will also work to embed research/writing components in the selected syllabi of Samtskhe-Javakheti State University and Gori State Teaching University, in partnership between the academia and other actors in the field of legal training. The Project will work to ensure capacity-building of regional universities in teaching the skills related courses.

Training Centre of Justice at MoJ and Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute at MFA will be contributing to (alternative (“shadow”)) reporting and research/writing components, also conference. ELSA will be collaborating in moot court and summer school activities. Steering Committee composed of Levan Alexidze Foundation, GAU, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Gori Universities will review and plan Project implementation on a quarterly basis.
